Our story
A Certain Type was born out of necessity in March 2024. Founders Aleksander Larsen and Kristoffer Fylling found themselves looking for that little extra touch in their active lifestyle. Products that made them feel great while exercising, products that gave that little extra 'touch'.
We created our running socks as our first product because we believe that performance starts from the ground up. The right pair of socks can make all the difference in comfort, endurance, and overall experience for runners, yet they are often overlooked. Runners face challenges like blisters, overheating, and lack of proper support, and we saw an opportunity to design socks that solve these issues. Our mission was to craft a product that seamlessly combines advanced functionality with exceptional comfort, ensuring that runners can focus on their goals without distractions.
