Welcome to A Certain Type. By using our website and purchasing our products, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of A Certain Type’s website and your purchase of products from A Certain Type. By accessing our website and making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Definitions

The buyer is the consumer who places the order, and is hereinafter referred to as the buyer.

3. Ordering

3.1 Acceptance of Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance by A Certain Type. We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion.

3.2 Order Confirmation
Once you place an order, you will receive an email confirming the receipt of your order. This email does not constitute acceptance of your order but is an acknowledgment that we have received it.

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Prices
All prices listed on our website are in Norwegian Krone (NOK) and include VAT unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.

4.2 Payment Methods
We accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards and other payment systems as listed on our website. Payment must be received in full before we dispatch any products.

5. Shipping and Delivery

5.1 Shipping Policy
We offer shipping to various locations. Shipping costs and delivery times are specified during the checkout process.

5.2 Delivery
Delivery times are estimates and may vary. A Certain Type is not responsible for any delays caused by shipping carriers.

6. Returns and Refunds

6.1 Right of Withdrawal
Under Norwegian law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day you or a third party indicated by you receives the goods.

6.2 How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by an unequivocal statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or email). You may use the model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

6.3 Effects of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for additional costs if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us). We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and not later than 14 days after we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.

6.4 Return of Goods
You shall send back the goods without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal to us. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

6.5 Refunds
We will refund the price of the product in full, including the cost of delivery to you. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

7. Sale Conditions

7.1 Special Offers
From time to time, we may offer special promotions or discounts. These offers are subject to specific terms and conditions, which will be clearly communicated.

7.2 Sale Items
Items on sale may be subject to different return conditions, which will be specified at the time of purchase.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, A Certain Type shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the products on our website.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts.

10. Changes to Terms of Service

We reserve the right to modify these terms of service at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our website and services constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Conflict Resolution

Complaints should be directed to the seller within a reasonable time, cf. points 9 and 10. The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If this does not succeed, the buyer can contact the Norwegian Consumer Council for mediation. The Norwegian Consumer Council is available by phone at +47 23 400 600 or at www.forbrukertilsynet.no.

The European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform can also be used if you wish to submit a complaint. This is particularly relevant if you are a consumer residing in another EU country. The complaint can be submitted here: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
